Seminar Description

System safety is an important discipline that is increasingly being embraced by regulators and organizations globally.
In this half-day workshop, we shall discuss relevant basic principles and practices for addressing system safety. Real life examples from the industry will be used for hazard analysis discussions. Participations from the audience on issues faced in practice are most welcome. 

Learning Objectives

This course is meant for general appreciation of system safety so that one would be able to identify the key process elements for addressing system safety and apply basic hazard analysis.

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

~ Identify key elements of system safety process
~ Apply basic hazard analysis
